Public interview

What if a museum is no longer a space, but rather a protocol of unity? This session will explore how digital technologies are redefining the very concept of museum institutions. Today, an exhibit may not be an object but rather an experience: interactive, temporary, augmented, or existing solely in AR or within a device’s memory. The museum becomes a navigational space for meaning, and the curator transforms into an interface architect.
We will examine how code, sensors, AI, and XR are becoming new ways to "read" collections, creating nonlinear narratives that allow visitors to become co-authors. From museum games and digital twins to immersive theatre and NFT catalogues — technology doesn’t just decorate museums; it reconstructs their very essence.

Topics will include the concept of the "museum as an API", inclusion and accessibility in digital spaces, automation of curatorial processes, preserving authenticity in an age of simulation. The discussion will focus on museum innovations, the architecture of interactive experiences, and the techno-design of the future museum language.
  • Can algorithms evoke "genuine emotions"?
  • What matters more — precision or imagination?
  • And how can museums remain not just technologically advanced but also "real," not artificial?
